Federal loans available to Kauai farmers who suffered storm damage
The U.S. Department of Agricultures Farm Service Agency has announced an emergency loan program for Kauaçi farmers who suffered losses from storms in Mid November.
The loans are available for losses from rain, flooding, landslides and high winds that occurred from Nov. 13-15.
The deadline to file an application is July 24, 2010. For more information, call the FSA Kauai county office at 245-9014, or the FSA Honolulu County office at 483-8600.
