NBA: Warriors' Wright hurts shoulder again
Associated Press
OAKLAND, Calif. — Golden State Warriors forward Brandan Wright injured his shooting shoulder during practice Friday and could miss extended time.
The team says Wright will undergo an MRI exam Monday to further determine the severity of the injury.
A key reserve in Don Nelson's lineup expected to contribute regularly this season, Wright might have sustained a similar injury to the one that sidelined him for two months last season. He partially dislocated his left shoulder in early January and missed two months, then briefly returned in March before sitting out the final 10 games.
Also Saturday, the Warriors waived forward Diamon Simpson.
