Teenager who died after apparent boat accident in Maunalua Bay identified
The Honolulu Medical Examiner's Office this morning identified a teenage diver who died yesterday as 17-year-old Keahihoku K.P. Lum of Honolulu.
Bryan Cheplic, spokesman for the city Emergency Services Department, said yesterday that the injured diver was taken to a local trauma center where he was later pronounced dead.
The boy was on shore at Maunalua Bay when paramedics arrived after receiving the call at 12:59 p.m., Cheplic said.
