Pets of all kinds — dogs, cats, even fish — lined up this morning to receive blessings from the Rev. Moki Hino at St. Andrew’s Cathedral.
The event was a continuation of ‘All Pets Day,’ which was celebrated Sunday.
The animal blessings are in honor of St. Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals and the environment.
St. Francis of Assisi's feast day is observed on Oct. 4.
