GET TIPS FROM 'MAD MEN' WRITER
Maria Jacquemetton, a writer-producer on AMC's Emmy-winning television series "Mad Men" is presenting a Pacific New Media workshop, "Writing for Television — Get Started and Go!"
The workshop takes place 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Oct. 24 and 25 at Krauss Hall, room 012 (Yukiyoshi Room) on the University of Hawai'i-Manoa campus. The cost is $200.
With her writing partner, André Jacquemetton, Maria Jacquemetton has written for well-known television shows including "Star Trek," "Baywatch," "Relic Hunter" and "Highlander." The Jacquemettons have also developed a Hawai'i-based pilot, "Almost Paradise," for Industry Entertainment.
