LAS CRUCES, N.M. — New Mexico State women's basketball coach Darin Spence is going camping.
In an effort to boost ticket sales, Spence plans to sleep in a tent outside the Pan American Center ticket office from Oct. 26-30. During that span, he will be challenging fans to buy 100 season tickets for NMSU women's basketball games.
Spence needs six wins to reach the 400-victory total for his career, and he's seven wins from ranking second in career wins at the school.
New Mexico State's home schedule includes New Mexico, UTEP, Kansas, Michigan, Fresno State, Louisiana Tech and Boise State.
