Parenting expert Kathy Bentley addresses these questions and others related to raising happy, healthy children in “Teaching Your Child to be Responsible,” a free parenting skills workshop sponsored by the 3Y Ministry of Harris United Methodist Church. The workshop takes place 9-10:30 a.m. Sept. 20 at the church, on the corner of Vineyard Boulevard and Nuçuanu Avenue. The event is geared toward parents, grandparents, babysitters and teachers.
