MADD HAWAI'I

Jennifer Dotson has been named executive director of MADD Hawai'i. She will develop, manage and implement all initiatives needed to deliver services and support to drunk driving victims and the community. Dotson has a five-year health care career with the Muscular Dystrophy Association and extensive experience in communications.

SENNET RENEWABLES

Dr. Karl Stahlkopf has joined Sennet Renewables as partner. He is a recognized leader in renewable energy systems and technologies. Stahlkopf recently retired from Hawaiian Electric Co.where he served as senior vice president and president of HECO's Renewable Hawaii subsidiary.

BELT COLLINS HAWAII

Belt Collins Hawaii Ltd., a Hawai'i-based planning, design and consulting firm has announced several promotions:

Current president Michael Terry is now president and chief executive officer. A registered landscape architect, he has supervised and worked on a wide range of landscape and planning projects and has expertise in landscape design, environmental planning, entitlements permitting, land management and resort and recreation area design.

Cheryl Palesh was elected chairwoman. She will also continue to serve as chief engineer for the firm and has extensive experience in civil and environmental engineering, having served as principal-in-charge, project manager, project civil engineer and designer on a wide variety of site development, infrastructure design and environmental projects.

Gene Yong was promoted to vice president and senior project manager. A certified planner, his expertise covers a wide variety of projects, including resort residential land planning, campus planning, military planning, urban design, land use entitlements and residential design guidelines.

DOUG DAVIS REALTY

Charene Davis, founder and sole proprietor of Aloha Stage Homes, has joined forces with Doug Davis Realty. Davis, a veteran real estate marketer and interior designer, formed her firm to achieve a greater return for her clients in a shorter marketing period. She has since exclusively practiced the art of staging and interior decorating, retaining an extensive list which includes some of the top real estate professionals and brokerages in Hawai'i.

HAWAI'I PACIFIC UNIVERSITY

Hawai'i Pacific University graduate Mickey Kromann-Jensen has been hired as assistant director of international admissions. Kromann-Jensen will provide leadership and direction for the recruitment, admission and enrollment of students from northern Europe. He is a former management consultant for Hospitality Advisors and media consultant and entrepreneur in the Danish advertising industry.
