Washington State QB Lopina to start, but Lobbestael to play

SPOKANE, Wash. — Neither quarterback won the starting job for Washington State in Saturday’s loss to Stanford.
Coach Paul Wulff says Kevin Lopina will start against Hawaii in Seattle this Saturday. But Marshall Lobbestael is also going to get playing time.
Wulff says Lopina appeared to move the offense better against Stanford. But he says Lobbestael had to play more in passing situations, and that his protection broke down.
Meanwhile, top receiver Daniel Blackledge has been closed by what appears to be swine flu and will miss practice Tuesday.
