CHEFS' FARE AT HALL OF FAME CELEBRATION

On Sept. 21, the Hawaii Restaurant Association hosts its third annual Hall of Fame celebration and will induct a new group of Island food experts — names to be announced — into the Hall of Fame. Among those hosting "dine-around" food stations are Dennis Franks of Big City Diner; Rodhel Ibay, Sergio's Italian Restaurant; Ronnie Nasuti, Roy's Restaurants; Goran Streng, Tango; Alan Takasaki, Le Bistro; Khamtan Tanhchlaeun, Hawaii Prince Hotel; and Tony Vierra of Grand Cafe & Bakery.
