Danielson named WAC Player of the Week; UH up to No. 4 in poll

Hawai‘i sophomore outside hitter Kanani Danielson was named Western Athletic Conference Volleyball Player of the Week today for the second time this season.
Danielson had 34 kills, 19 digs and seven blocks over three matches while earning Most Outstanding Player honors at The Honolulu Advertiser Volleyball Challenge last week, which included a win over Stanford. This is the third honor of her career.
Also today, the Rainbow Wahine (7-2) jumped two spots to No. 4 in this week's American Volleyball Coaches Association Poll.
Hawai'i hosts No. 25 Pepperdine (7-2) on Friday and Saturday.
