A 35-year-old man was arrested early this morning after he allegedly choked and threatened to kill a 34-year-old woman at a home on Tusitala Street in Waikiki.
The woman told police she had been arguing with the man when he began to punch and choke her about 4 a.m.
She said that at one point, the man grabbed a broken glass, placed it against her neck and threatened to kill her.
The woman said that when the man released his grip, she was able to flee and go to a neighbor’s home to call police.
