The Third Annual Celebrate Kaimuki Kanikapila Craft Fair & Street Festival will be held on Saturday, Nov. 7, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Waialae Avene between Koko Head and 11th avenues, and at the Kaimuki Community Park.
In conjunction with the event, organizers have announced the CKK Bucks fundraising program, open to local schools and nonprofit organizations. The CKK Bucks program allows groups to earn money for their school or organization by selling CKK Bucks. For each $5 CKK Buck the group sells, it earns $1. As a bonus, the school or organization which sells the most bucks will be awarded a $500 cash donation from the Kaimuki Business & Professional Association.
Individuals who purchase the CKK Bucks, worth $5 each, can use them to purchase local craft items, food, and merchandise from more than 40 participating craft booths and Kaimuki merchants on Nov. 7.
Among the vendors and businesses who will accept CKK Bucks: Big City Diner, JJ’s French Bakery & Bistro, Toys & Joys, NightOwl Jewelry, Under the Tent, Wabi Sabi and Café Laufer.
