Hawaiian Electric is warning about a phony e-mail that advertises a fake employment opportunity.

The e-mail from hawaiinelectric1891@gmail.com asks the recipient to apply for a nonexistent accounts receivable position and to supply personal information.

Hawaiian Electric said all its employment opportunities are listed on its Web site at www.heco.com.
