'Dog' Chapman signs books Saturday in Waikele

Advertiser Staff

Duane "Dog" Chapman will end his second book tour for "Where Mercy Is Shown, Mercy Is Given," with a book signing at 2 p.m. Saturday at Borders in Waikele.

This is the second book by Chapman, star of A&E's highest-rated series, "Dog the Bounty Hunter." His first in 2008, "You Can Run, But You Can't Hide," reached No. 1 on the New York Times bestseller list.

"Where Mercy Is Shown, Mercy Is Given" hit the shelves March 16, but 2,000 pre-release copies were provided for a kickoff event at Barnes & Noble at Kahala Mall on March 13. This final event is the 36th stop on the tour. Chapman chose to kick off and end both book tours in Hawai'i, his home, according to a press release.

Also, Chapman will be featured in an "E! True Hollywood Story" episode, premiering on E! May 19, the anniversary of his daughter Barbara Katy Chapman's death. Chapman and his posse have also been busy filming for the seventh season of "Dog the Bounty Hunter."

"Dog the Bounty Hunter" airs Wednesday nights nationwide, and also airs around the world. For more information, visit www.dogthebountyhunter.com or www.aetv.com/dog-the-bounty-hunter/.
