CAMP

Hawai'i Baptist Academy will hold its 16th Annual Eagle Hoop Camp June 8-11 at the HBA gym. Lead clinicians will be former UH-Hilo and Adidas ABC coach Jimmy Yagi and former UH-Hilo all-star guard and Hawaii Tribune-Herald sports editor Bill O'Rear. The camp is open to all boys and girls entering grades 4-12 this fall. It will be divided into two age groups. Daily sessions will be 8:30-11:30 a.m. for grades 4-8 and 12:30-3:30 p.m. for grades 9-12. Camp fee is $75 if registered by April 24 and includes a camp T-shirt. COACHES NEEDED

Campbell High School has vacancies for head coaching positions in cheerleading (competitive cheer and sideline cheer), and paddling (boys and girls varsity and junior varsity). Qualifications: previously worked with students and parents; knowledge of the sport; certification for coaching the sport; experience in budgeting and fund-raising; experience in practice and game scheduling; ability to follow state, school and athletic department rules, policies and guidelines. Send resumes to Athletic Director, c/o James Campbell High School. Deadline is April 14.

Mid-Pacific Institute is looking for a varsity head coach for girls volleyball. The head coach will oversee and develop the entire girls volleyball program, including the junior varsity and intermediate levels. Candidates must have prior high school and/or college coaching experience and good communication skills. Volleyball coaching certification is preferred. Please send a letter expressing interest and specific experience and qualifications, a current resume and a list of three references to: Mid-Pacific Athletics, 2445 Ka'ala St, Honolulu, HI 96822 or athletics@midpac.edu. The application deadline is April 16.
