No. 2 Campbell goes 9-0 in OIA softball

Kayce Konohia pitched a three-hit shutout to help the host and No. 2-ranked Campbell Sabers beat the Leilehua Mules, 13-0, yesterday in an OIA Red West game shortened to six innings due to the mercy rule.

Gerika Pantohan hit a grand slam, and Daylene Antonio and Tiana Rosario each drove in two runs for the Sabers (9-0).

Courtney Senas went 3 for 4 with a pair of two-run homers, and Kristi Oshiro, Andi Felise and Kacie Oshiro each had two hits to lead the visiting and No. 4-ranked Trojans over the Hurricanes in an OIA Red West game.

Kaity Wills drove in two runs for the Hurricanes.

Kyree Naiwi hit a two-run double in the top of the ninth inning to break a 2-all tie and Wehi Keopuhiwa pitched a complete game as the visiting Seariders held on to beat the Marauders.

Nala Villiamu went 3 for 4 and AJ Miranda went 2 for 4 to lead Waipahu.

Peyton Buen pitched a complete game and hit a double to help Nā Menehune rally past the host Bulldogs in eight innings.

Doriann Sugai had two hits and drove in three runs for Moanalua, which scored two runs in the seventh to send the game into extra innings.

Yesterday's OIA Red East game between No. 7 ranked Castle and Kailua was postponed because of rain. The game will be made up tomorrow, starting at 3:30 p.m. at Castle.

ILH SOFTBALL

PUNAHOU 4, KAMEHAMEHA 0

Jasmine Ioane threw a three-hit shutout with six strikeouts to help the No. 5-ranked Buffanblu beat the No. 9 Warriors in an Interscholastic League of Honolulu playoff game.

Ioane also had a double and Mysha Sataraka batted 2 for 2 and had four stolen bases for Punahou, which plays No. 6 'Iolani today for second place in the first round.

Harley Holt and two relievers combined on a five-inning two hitter and Brennan Doane-Alcos drove in two runs and scored twice to lead the Warriors over the Wolfpack in an ILH game at CORP.

TC Campbell and Bryson Kenolio each had two hits for Kamehameha.
