Waipahu woman arrested in gunfire fracas

A 24-year-old Waipahu woman has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder in connection with a Saturday shooting at Whitmore Village. No one was injured.
Police responded to a report of gunfire at 12:23 p.m. Saturday. They said an argument had broken out at the Whitmore Village residence and the woman fired several shots. She then unsuccessfully tried to steal a 44-year-old man's truck.
She and her boyfriend fled in the boyfriend's vehicle. They were identified and arrested at 6:02 p.m. at 11 South Kamehameha Highway.
