Alex Fager, an eighth-grader at Our Savior Lutheran School in 'Aiea, will represent Hawai'i in the National Geographic Bee, May 25 and 26 in Washington, D.C.

Fager earned the berth by winning the state geography bee Friday at the Hawai'i Convention Center. It was his third consecutive victory in the event.

Fager will be accompanied by his teacher, Todd Coolidge.
