TRIATHLON

Applications are being taken for the Bikefactory North Shore Triathlon to be held May 30, starting at 6 a.m. at Mokulē'ia Beach Park. They can be picked up at Bikefactory, Boca Hawaii and bike and running shops on O'ahu, as well as online at www.Active.com, www.Hawaiiswim.com. For more information, call 372-8884. Portions of the proceeds go to Leahi Soccer Team.

WALK

The deadline to sign up for next month's Visitor Industry Charity Walk is May 12. The 6-mile fun walk starts at 7 a.m. from Ala Moana Beach Park through Waikīkī and back on May 15. For more information, call 923-0407, or go to www.charitywalkhawaii.org.

BASEBALL

Players interested in trying out for the 808 Dragons Hawaii All Star Team that will travel to Arizona in October for the Arizona Fall Classic for sophomores (2013 and 2014) should contact Jacob Sur at 808-778-1610 or jaykiki4186@yahoo.com, or Sweetie Nelson at 808-469-0535, or sweetienel@aol.com. The deadline is May 30.

Also, players interested in traveling with the 808 Dragons Travel High School team for a USC camp should contact Sur. Players will showcase their talents before about 50 Division I, Division II and junior college coaches.
