Castle softball hands Roosevelt first loss

Leisha Liilii pitched a one-hitter and Kalena Lessary batted 2 for 3 as host Castle handed Roosevelt its first loss of the season, 4-0, in the second game of a doubleheader yesterday.

In the first game, Liana Bajarin pitched an eight-hitter and batted 2 for 3 with a homer and three RBIs as Roosevelt beat Castle, 8-2.

Castle is 7-3 in the O'ahu Interscholastic Association Red East; Roosevelt is 11-1.
