This year Palama Settlement's Scorpions youth football teams will be returning to Pop Warner football after a long absence, participating in the Jr. PeeWee and Jr. Midget Divisions. Youth from the area East of Middle Street to West of Liliha St. (Mauka to Makai) ages 8 to 13 years old are welcomed to register!

Signing up for Palama's Pop Warner teams will provide youth with more than just an opportunity to play football! These football youth fall under Palama's Pakolea Program, an academic/sports/behavioral modification program, in existence since 1979, that uses sports as a mechanism to mentor and work with youth on their education, their behaviors, and their ability to make wise and healthy life choices.

Details of the registration are as follows:

Dates: April 26th to June 30th, 1pm to 5pm (no late registrations will be accepted) - Space is limited so please sign up as soon as you can!

Fees: $250 - $100 of which will be refunded at the end of the season, with the return of applicable equipment/uniform pieces. The low fee this year is made possible due to the generosity of Harriet and Linda Gee, wife and daughter of the late Bill Gee, who made donations in honor of his memory.

Please contact Michael Miyashiro, Pakolea Program Manager or Ko Kealoha, Pakolea Youth Specialist at 848-2521 for more information regarding registration and program requirements.
