Police are investigating a complaint filed on behalf of a 9-year-old girl who reported being sexually assaulted about 6:30 p.m. yesterday in Aiea.

Police have identified a 60-year-old man as a suspect, but he had not been arrested as of this morning.

Police did not say what the relationship is, if any, between the victim and suspect.

The incident has been classified as first-degree sexual assault.
