5 Big Island officers promoted to sergeant
Five Big Island police officers were promoted to the rank of sergeant today.
Sgts. Cory L. Koi, Michael K. Riviera and Marvin K. Troutman are assigned to Kona Patrol. Sgt. Akira E. Edmoundson is assigned to the Kau District and Sgt. Reynold H. Kahalewai is assigned to the Human Resources Section in the Administrative Bureau.
Chief Harry S. Kubojiri made the announcement today.
