Advertiser Staff

Wednesday will be a special day for several Hawai'i high school athletes as they put their college commitment in writing on National Letter of Intent Signing Day.

The Honolulu Advertiser will provide live streaming video from the Pacific Islands Athletic Alliance signing event at the Sheraton Waikiki starting at 6:30 a.m. and of the University of Hawaii's announcements around 2 p.m.

About 55 athletes, including 25 going to Division I schools, will sign their letters for football, water polo, soccer, cross country and track and field at the event at the Sheraton.

Special guests will include Hawai'i Lt. Gov. James "Duke" Aiona and agent and former NFL player Leo Goeas.
