University High girls earn state Division II berth

Quynne Eharis scored 32 points as University High clinched a state tournament berth by beating St. Francis, 59-42, in the ILH Division II girls basketball tournament at Klum gym.

The Jr. Rainbows claimed the league's fourth and final state tournament berth.

UHS improved to 10-8; St. Francis ended its season at 8-10.

Sacred Hearts, Word of Life and Hawai'i Baptist had already clinched state tournament berths and didn't have to play in the league tournament.
