Fat Tuesday will be celebrated this evening with a festival on Nuuanu Avenue.

The event, set for 5:30-10:30 in the Chinatown area, will feature music, dance, costumes and food from New Orleans, the Caribbean and Brazil. Also: samba parades with floats, dancers and Brazilian percussion ensembles.
