A brushfire near Kula Agricultural Park. north of Pulehu Road on Maui. burned an estimated six acres yesterday, Maui County officials said. Fire crews and the Air One helicopter responded to the fire, which was in a gulch area.

The cause of the fire was not immediately determined and remained under investigation.

The fire was reported at 12:54 p.m. Police closed Pulehu Road between Holopuni Road and Kulakula Road shortly before 2 p.m.

There were no reports of injuries or damage to structures, officials said.
