The Honolulu Academy of Arts is hosting a free family-friendly Year of the Tiger celebration tomorrow.

This month’s Bank of Hawaii Family Sunday will feature a lunar new year theme, with lion-dancing throughout the museum from noon to 1 p.m., followed by Chinese folk dancing.
There will also be calligraphy and narcissus bulb carving demonstrations.
While the academy will be open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., the family day activities run only from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Visit www.honoluluacademy.org or call 532-7800 for information.
In addition to the Chinese New Year-themed activities, interested individuals or groups can sign up from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. to be part of artist-in-residence Elizabeth Curtis’ portrait project “The Visitors.”
Visit www.ElizabethRCurtis.com for information about that project.
