Kalihi Stream off limits because of sewage spill
Officials have advised people to stay out of Kalihi Stream for the next few days because of a small sewage spill yesterday.
About 80 gallons of sewage entered a storm drain because of a back-up sewer line at 3534 Kalihi St. An unknown amount of sewage then entered the stream.
The state Department of Health's Clean Water Branch was notified and warning signs were posted.
