High surf expected across all islands

High surf warnings or advisories are in effect for all Hawaii islands until early Tuesday.

The high surf warning is in effect for Oahu, Kauai, Niihau and Molokai (north and west facing shores) and Maui (north facing shores).

The high surf advisory applies to the Big Island (west facing shores.)

A large swell produced by a powerful storm northwest of Hawaii several days ago is causing the high surf conditions

The warnings remain in effect until 6 a.m. Tuesday.

Surf could range from 12 to 25 feet along north and west facing shores.
