As "Lost" heads into its final season, plans are under way to give Hawaii fans the first look at the premiere episode.

Organizers said today that "Lost" will screen at Sunset on the Beach in Waikiki on Jan. 30.
Red carpet arrivals by stars of the show will begin at 5 p.m. on Jan. 30. Producers of the show are also expected to attend.
Beginning at 6:30 p.m., ABC will show a season's premiere episode of "Modern Family," followed by the first episode of "Lost."
"Thousands of fans will congregate on the sandy beach of Waikiki to be the first to see the initial hour of the season premiere episode of 'Lost: The Final Season,' before it airs nationally on ABC," organizers said, in a release.
"Lost" premieres on ABC at 8 p.m. on Feb. 2 — Groundhog Day.
