The soupy, voggy Kona weather that has kept Honolulu socked in a gray haze will stick around until Tuesday, when trade winds and sunnier skies are expected to return, forecasters said today.

The National Weather Service said southerly breezes will continue until a new weather front moves in on Tuesday and winds should shift to the northwest, bringing clearer skies.
By Wednesday the winds should shift all the way back to the northeast, bringing the return of cooling, crisp tradewinds.
High temperatures are expected to remain in the upper 70s.
