Ala Wai discharge was not from sewage
Warning signs are being removed today in Waikiki after it was learned that a discharge on Ala Wai Boulevard was not from sewage.
The Clean Water Branch of the state Department of Health was informed today at 9:30 a.m. and the city’s Environmental Services confirmed that the water was not originating from the sewer lines at 1717 Ala Wai Blvd.
