Warriors get state berth

Kamehameha defeated Honoka'a, 75-60, on the Big Island yesterday to clinch the final berth in the boys Division I basketball state tournament.

The Warriors (13-4) face Campbell (11-5) at 7 p.m. tomorrow in the first round at McKinley gym. The Dragons ended their season 9-5.

Micah Dunhour scored 24 points to lead Academy of the Pacific to a victory over Hawai'i Baptist and the final Interscholastic League of Honolulu berth in the boys Division II basketball state tournament. AOP (15-3) faces Seabury Hall in the first round on Thursday.
