Advertiser Staff

Hawai‘i senior Roderick Flemings earned All-Western Athletic Conference honorable mention honors, the conference announced today.

No other Rainbow Warriors or Rainbow Wahine were named to All-WAC teams.
Luke Babbitt of Nevada was named WAC Player of the Year, and Greg Smith of Fresno State was the Freshman of the Year. Utah State's Stew Morrill was selected Coach of the Year.
Flemings, a 6-foot-7, 210-pound forward from Dallas, led the Rainbow Warriors in scoring with a 16.6 points per game average.
Hawai‘i finished its season 10-20 overall and 3-13 in the WAC, failing to qualify for next week's conference tournament in Reno, Nev.
The Rainbow Wahine (13-16 and 5-11) open the tournament against top see Fresno State on Wednesday in Reno.
