Boston Whaler loses power, towed to safety
Honolulu fire rescue crews towed a 13-foot Boston Whaler to safety Monday after it lost power and began drifting offshore of Maili.
None of the four adults in the boat was injured, Honolulu fire Capt. Terry Seelig said.
The boat lost power sometime around noon. Rescue crews then towed it to the Waianae Small Boat Harbor, Seelig said.
The incident was reported at 11:20 a.m.
