'Iolani baseball holds off Saint Louis, 10-8

Michael Diebold and Jarrett Arakawa combined to scatter seven hits, and Arakawa, Tiras Koon and Brett Watanabe each hit a home run as host 'Iolani edged Saint Louis, 10-8, yesterday in Interscholastic League of Honolulu baseball.

Moses Samia hit a home run and drove in three runs, and Kalei Contrades went 2 for 4 with a double and home run for Saint Louis.

Ryan Cortez and Evan Horio had two hits apiece and Lum drove in two runs for Moanalua.

Agag finished 5 for 6 with five RBIs and Drake Yoshioka had two doubles and two triples to lead Waipahu's 22-hit attack. Rendell Cardano batted 4 for 4, with a double, two triples and three RBIs for McKinley.
