ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — Free agent linebacker Andra Davis has signed with the Buffalo Bills.
The deal was reached on Tuesday during Davis’ visit to the team’s headquarters. Davis is an eight-year NFL veteran, who spent last season with Denver before being cut by the Broncos last week.
Selected in the fifth round of the 2002 draft by Cleveland, he spent seven years with the Browns, including the past six as a starter. In Buffalo, Davis is reunited with new Bills defensive coordinator George Edwards.
Davis played under Edwards, who was the Browns linebackers coach in 2004.
KDVR-TV in Denver reported that Davis signed a two-year contract.
