Injured hiker rescued by helicopter from falls trail
A hiker was rescued from the Lā'ie Falls trail yesterday after he injured his leg and couldn't walk out.
Firefighters rappelled down to the hiker from a helicopter just before 1 p.m.
The man and his woman companion, both in their 20s, were flown out in a helicopter basket.
Both hikers are Island residents.
