Bank of Hawaii pledges $120K to UH economic research team
Bank of Hawaii has pledged $120,000 over the next three years to sponsor the University of Hawai‘i Economic Research Organization.
“Private support such as this new investment from Bank of Hawaii is key to UHERO's ability to fulfill their mission of informing public and private-sector economic decision-making through quantitative and analytical research with a particular focus on the economies of Hawai‘i and the Asia Pacific region,” Bank of Hawaii said in a news release.
The pledge also provides support for UHERO’s Hawai‘i Data Portal, a free online resource that provides access to the most up to date information on a wide array of economic and social indicators for the State and County economies.
