Katherine Heigl is done with "Grey's Anatomy."

ABC said yesterday that the Jan. 21 episode was her final appearance, four months before the show's season finale in May.

ABC said Heigl ended her run as Dr. Izzie Stevens after six seasons by "mutual agreement."

Heigl told Entertainment Weekly that she asked to be let out of her contract 18 months early to focus on her newly adopted daughter.

The 31-year-old is married to singer-songwriter Josh Kelley.

DYING HOPPER TAKES STAR, NOT DEPOSITION

Dennis Hopper is terminally ill and unable to undergo chemotherapy as he battles prostate cancer, his attorney wrote in a court filing.

Attorney Joseph Mannis described the "Easy Rider" star's grave condition in a declaration filed yesterday asserting that the actor cannot be questioned by his wife's attorneys in a deposition.

Hopper, 73, and his wife, Victoria, have been locked in a bitter feud since the actor/director/artist filed to end the nearly 14-year marriage in January.

However, his physician, Dr. David Agus, said in the court filing that he approved an appearance tomorrow by Hopper to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame because it is likely to be a positive experience.

AKON'S BUDDHA VIDEO UPSETS SRI LANKANS

R&B star Akon has postponed a planned concert in Sri Lanka next month following angry protests over a music video he's in, which shows scantily clad women dancing in front of a Buddha statue.

Akon, who expressed regret and said he was not previously aware of the statue in the video, would have been the highest-profile singer to perform in this predominately Buddhist island in the Indian Ocean since a brutal 25-year civil war ended last year.

HARVARD PHYSICS SLURPS UP SOUP DU JOUR

A Spanish chef who has concocted dishes such as squid ravioli and freeze-dried foie gras is teaming with Harvard University to create an undergraduate course in culinary physics.

Ferran Adria will begin teaching in the fall at Harvard's engineering school. His general-education science course will use cooking to introduce students to soft-matter physics, which studies suspensions and gels.

BIEBER'S MANAGER ARRESTED FOR SLOW TWEET

The manager of teen pop sensation Justin Bieber surrendered to police yesterday in connection with a fan frenzy last November at a mall in Long Island that sent five people to the hospital with minor injuries.

Scott "Scooter" Braun pleaded not guilty to charges of reckless endangerment, criminal nuisance and endangering the welfare of a child. Authorities say Braun didn't send out a tweet quickly enough to let the raucous crowd of 3,000 know the 16-year-old Bieber wouldn't make his appearance at Roosevelt Field Mall.
