A 27-year-old Makaha man was charged Friday in the stabbing death of another man Wednesday night.

Thomas C. Muscara was charged with one count of second-degree murder in connection with the death of Johnny Walton Sr., 51, also of Makaha. Muscara’s bail was set at $200,000 and he is scheduled to make his initial court appearance Monday morning.
Police said Muscara and Walton were neighbors at the Makaha Valley Plantation and got into an argument shortly before 8 p.m. Wednesday. Muscara is accused of stabbing Walton, who was taken to the hospital where he died at about 9 p.m.
A witness who said she asked Muscara to help Walton said Muscara responded that he wouldn’t because Walton was the one who attacked him with a knife.
