This may be enough reason to check out the 13th annual Islandwide Crafts & Food Expo: Moms will get special treatment. There will be more than 200 handcrafters and food vendors, but for the first time the expo will offer new features that celebrate moms.

Support low-income mothers and women by bringing gently used career clothing for the YWCA Dress for Success program. Let kids play in a Family Fun Zone. Join the Keiki Dance Party with Wendy Calio, who plays Nina on Disney's "Imagination Movers."

Or check out high-energy entertainment and demonstrations that feature or are targeted for women, children and families, including a belly dance performance and demos to show moms quick, easy ways to stay in shape.

The expo runs 10 a.m.-9 p.m. today and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday at the Blaisdell Exhibition Hall. Admission is $4; children younger than 12 get in free. Details:
