Dress up, scoop fish at Kodomo no Hi festival

Round up the kiddies for make-and-take crafts, including a mini ikebana made with recycled products. Scoop up goldfish and play traditional Japanese games. Enjoy a taiko performance. The free, annual Kodomo no Hi: Keiki Fun Fest/Going Green, 10 a.m.

3 p.m. tomorrow at the Japanese Cultural Center of Hawai'i, will offer activities for the whole family with an added theme of recycling and sustainability.

There will also be kimono dressing and professional portraits. The cost for the dressing is $75 ($60 for JCCH members). Fee does not include hair and makeup, and photos are a separate cost.
