Big Island police ask public's help in finding missing teens

Hawaii County police are asking the public's help in finding two missing teenagers:

• Stephanie K. Thompson, 17, of Puna was last seen Jan. 13. She is 5 feet 8 and about 145 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes.

• Daniel Kapumau, 16, of Hilo was last seen Feb. 10. He is 5 feet 10 and about 146 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of either is asked to call the police non-emergency line at 935-3311.

Tipsters who wish to remain anonymous can call CrimeStoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona.
