UH's Eggens named All-MPSF

University of Hawai'i sophomore attacker Monika Eggens has been named to the All-Mountain Pacific Sports Federation water polo first team.
Eggens, who is from Pitt Meadows, British Columbia, led the MPSF in scoring, averaging 2.30 goals per game and amassing 53 goals in 23 games for the fifth-ranked Rainbow Wahine.
UH juniors Carmen Eggens and Leonie Van Der Molen were named to the second team, and Amarens Genee was named to the all-freshman team.

UH FINISHES LAST
The University of Hawai'i men's golf team shot a final-round 30-over-par 318 to finish in last place at the Western Athletic Conference Championships in Henderson, Nev.
The Warriors finished at 54-over 918 for three rounds. Host New Mexico State won with 13-under 851 with Nevada (858) second in the nine-team field.
UH sophomore TJ Kua shot a final-round 8-over 80 and slipped from fourth place to finish in a tie for 12th at 2-over 218. New Mexico State's Timothy Madigan shot a final-round 70 and won by 10 strokes with 14-under 202.
Also competing for UH were freshman Cory Oride (81—232, 37th), sophomore Jared Sawada (80—233, tie 38th), junior Kamden Brakel (78—239, 44th), and sophomore Pono Calip (80—242, 45th).
