Nanakuli man convicted in sexual assault of teen
Henry Moisa, 58, of Nanakuli, was convicted this afternoon of three counts of first-degree sexual assault of a teenage boy.
A Circuit Court jury deliberated a day and a half before finding Moisa guilty of three of the five counts against him.
Deputy Prosecuting Attorney Adrian Dhakwha said Moisa, operator of a portable toilet business, faces a mandatory 20-year jail sentence for the crimes.
Moisa paid the victim, an employee, $5 each time the youth allowed Moisa to perform oral sex, according to Dhakwha.
The assaults allegedly occurred at Moisa's house, at Bellows Field Beach Park and at Mokulē'ia, and ended in 2008, the prosecutor said.
Moisa will be sentenced by Circuit Judge Glenn Kim in July.
Moisa was originally tried last year but a mistrial was declared before the case went to the jury.
