Advertiser Staff

Honolulu's Michelle Wie started poorly but rebounded in the back nine to shoot a 1-over 73 today, barely making the cut in the Bell Micro LPGA Classic in Mobile, Ala.

Wie's two-round total of 1-over 145 (72-73) puts her in a six-way tie for 68th place and right on the cutline.

The Punahou alum and Stanford student started the day by bogeying the first two holes. She then double-bogeyed her fifth.

Wie then birdied her seventh (No. 16) and made the turn at 3-over 39.

She then bogeyed her 10th but rallied with a birdie and eagle to close with a 2-under 34.

Se Ri Pak shot 6-under 66 today and leads at 9-under 135.

Brittany Lincicome (6-under 66) and Wendy Ward (7-under 65) are tied, a shot back at 136.
