Wie shoots 76, falls to last place at Bell Micro LPGA Classic

Honolulu's Michelle Wie struggled to a 4-over par 76 today and was at the bottom of the leaderboard in the third round of the Bell Micro LPGA Classic in Mobile, Ala.

Wie, a Punahou alum and Stanford student, was at 5-over 221 and in last place (73rd). Suzann Pettersen (65), Brittany Lincicome (67) and Se Ri Pak (68) were tied for the lead at 13-under 203.

Wie got off to a rocky start today with three bogeys and a double-bogey on the front nine to make the turn at 5 over. She had another bogey on the par-4 No. 10 to go to 6 over before getting consecutive birdies on the par-4 No. 15 and par-5 No. 16.

The final round is tomorrow at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail at Magnolia Grove.
